images Ralph Lauren was one of the first fashion brands to launch an iPhone application. With F/W09 fashion shows over, Ralph Lauren officially launched an update to their application to include loads of new features to bring the fashion of Ralph Lauren right to the palm of your hand.

With several exciting new technology features (pinch-zoom on any look) and functionality (contact a personal shopper) as well as the addition of the Fall 09 collection, the app is a great upgrade for fashion lovers and fans of the Ralph Lauren brand.

Here’s a breakdown of the most notable updates:

• In-depth Ricky Bag feature with 360-rotation using iPhone’s “accelerometer” technology
• The ability to pinch-zoom on all looks
• The addition of a Spring Accessories gallery and advertising section
• A new Video Library of short fashion films
• An even richer Backstage photo montage with audio
• The ability to contact a Personal Shopper for product information and assistance
• Email looks to a friend
