LCD Screen Digital Microscope

This little nifty gadget caught my eye and I can’t stop thinking how cool it would be to have one. Certainly a great thing for kids to experiment with, and it could be pretty darn useful around the workshop.

The best part is of course the LCD screen - a 3.5″ color. The screen itself has an SD card slot for taking pictures of what you are viewing and you can even connect it up to a PC via USB cable to transfer images.

Its got a 6 position color filer and can view from 40 to 400 Power - up to 1600 Power with Digital Zoom.

Thats pretty incredible.

It runs for $300 and the manufacturers page is HERE

usb_xmas_tree.jpg

Want a little Christmas cheer by your home or office PC? Theres plenty of options available. This particular tree is one of the better ones. Sporting animated fiber optics and a nice little star on top.

Its fully USB powered and requires no drivers. Heck, what exactly you would need a driver for - except maybe to change the lights rotation speed is beyond me.

At any rate this is my personal favorite USB Tree and its only $17.00
