Think what makes this seem to me like a very useful gadget is last year when I shaved my head for the first time, then went on vacation and walked around all day under cloudy skies. Little did I know how bad a sunburn hurts on a bald head. - if I had this gadget maybe I would have put something like a bandana on my head eh?

Personal UV Monitor Monitors the current UV index and temperature, and calculates your recommended exposure time based on UV, SPF and your personal skin type.

For $20.99 its pretty resaonable

Ear Check for Kids

Thursday, March 15th, 2007

I remember the stress of ear infections. The parents are never sure, you go to the doctor too often… or not enough. You never really know if its an ear infection or not.

This gadget looks to change all that - like an in ear thermometer, you put it up to the ear and it will tell you on a scale from 1 to 5 if your little one is likely to have an ear infection.

Good for kids from 6 months old to 14 years old.

You can get it from the manufacturer for $49.95
