The web is abuzz with rumors of Sony Playstation’s latest upcoming mobile game portable…the PSP GO!

The new design of the very popular handheld unit features an even lighter more compact body. The new PSP Go, which should come with Memory Stick Micro cards and an option to download game feature, will have 16GB on-board flash memory. It will also have a 3.8” display screen, with the controller sliding under it. PSP Go should be expected to have Bluetooth connectivity.

Details of this latest game gadget has been leaked on the internet weeks ago but Sony has yet to confirm the full specifications. The company, however, revealed during last week’s E3 that PSP Go will be released in North America and Europe on October 1, 2009 going at a price of $249 /€249. And it will be out in Japan on November 1, 2009 for 26,800 yen.

More Nintendo DSi Colors

Monday, March 9th, 2009

dsi

The latest Nintendo DS handheld game models feature two things not found in the current types — cameras on the inside and the outside and a larger screen. Just like the first models which was released in the early 2000’s. these Nintendo DSi  also includes an SD card slot but with better speakers and a game download capacity.

The game gear, coming April 15th on US shores. will be in classic black and white colors. But the game company have just released funky new shades like Pink, Lime Green and Metallic Blue. These models will be made available in Japan first (on March 20th exactly) and may reach America by Christmas time (so, hold off buying a new DS till this models come in. That is, if you want these colors!).

The Sexy Xbox 360 in Red

I don’t consider myself a hardcore gamer but I do appreciate video games and game consoles now and then. Living with two boys who are undoubtedly game geeks, I’m exposed to this kinds of stuff.

But I am not sure how pleased or displeased my boys will be with the latest from Microsoft Games. The Xbox 360 in fiery Red has long been rumored for release. And finally, the word is out. It is really happening and it is really in RED.

I just love it so! It’s very attractive!

This beautiful console comes bundled with a wireless controller (also in red of course), an Xbox 360 headset (not in red, but black), about 120GB hard drive, the latest copy of Resident Evil 5, a downloadable access to the Resident Evil theme and the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix.

Retail for this is at $399.00 and may already be pre-ordered at Best Buy.

The console is a limited edition release.

Sony PSP2 Underway? Nope, not yet.

What you’re looking is a fan made mock up of a Sony PSP 2 from PSP Fanboy. It looks really sleek doesn’t it? Rumors have it this one even has a USB camera capacity. While this gadget may look really awesome, apparently everything else that’s been going around the rumor mill? It’s not happening yet.

Early this week, rumors of a next generation Playstation Portable has been debunked by John Koller, Sony’s Director of Hardware Marketing. Mr. Koller has confirmed that there “are no PSP 2 underway”. Which is great because we’ve only been enjoying our portable gadget for only a year now…I wouldn’t want to save up for the new one just yet!

You can check for the complete press release from Sony here.
